David S. Jones is a pastor, biblical teacher, and leader whose life and ministry reflect a rare combination of spiritual depth, real-world experience, and genuine love for people.

 

Called into ministry in 1993 and ordained into pastoral ministry in 2004, David has spent over two decades in executive church leadership — serving congregations in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia before planting New Vision Church in 2014.

What sets David apart in the pulpit is his ability to open the Scriptures in a way that is clear, relevant, and impossible to walk away from unchanged. He doesn't just preach the Word — he makes it land where people actually live, connecting ancient truth to everyday reality in ways that stick.

Outside the church, David brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in corporate America, currently serving as a Vice President at a leading health insurance company. He understands organizational pressure, leadership complexity, and what it takes to develop people at the highest levels — and that experience shapes everything about how he leads and teaches.

In 2008, he made history as the first African American elected to the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners — a reflection of his deep commitment to his community and his belief that faith has to show up beyond the four walls of the church.

 

A dynamic and sought-after communicator, David speaks at leadership conferences, college campuses, and youth events — always with the same driving passion: helping people discover who God made them to be and empowering them to walk fully in it.

 

A proud native of Allentown, PA, David and his wife of 35 years, Karen, have raised five children together and are now enjoying one of life's best chapters as grandparents to five grandchildren.
